The day before I was witness to an accident in which the rider on a motorcycle in high speed, banged into a car from the side and fell down. During the fall his helmet came off his head and rolled away. Essentially he had not strapped it or was loosely strapped. Fortunately he escaped unhurt.
No point in having a helmet, which is worn like a cap.
Strap it firmly in place so that, even you are upside down, it doesn't move...should be firm on the head. Check below link for more information on buying, wearing a properly sized helmet.
